The Larissa Railway Museum was founded in 2005 by railway employees and members of the Larissa Railway Friends Association (SFSL). The museum started operating just before Christmas 2005, but only one wing currently operates.
The museum's exhibits were collected by members of the Association and it consists of head stationmaster uniforms and hats, train whistles, horns, cancellation tickets, torches, storm (petroleum), acetylene and electric change orbit lamps, telegraphs, telephones, pocket watches, clocks and banners.

Moreover, SFSL exploits old drezines from the OSE SA warehouses, behind the Customs Office.
More specifically, drezine D3 is one of the rarest, dating back to 1930; D1 is a luxury drezine with wood paneling and used only for VIPs (kings, prime ministers and others). Drezine DR41 was intended for the transport of OSE SA staff.
